Kuwait, July 16 /QNA/ The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that the armed forces have spotted 32 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn today, and they were intercepted and dealt with.

Colonel Staff Pilot Saud Al-Attwan, the spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, said in a press statement: "The sinful Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of vital installations in the country."

He added that the operations to intercept hostile targets resulted in the fall of shrapnel in several residential areas, causing material damage with no injuries recorded.

He affirmed that the armed forces continue to perform their tasks and duties with efficiency and competence, within the framework of continuous readiness and permanent preparedness, to enhance the nation's security and preserve the safety of citizens and residents.
