The Kuwaiti Army announced Thursday evening it intercepted and dealt with 32 hostile drones within the country's airspace.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan, said in a press statement that "the armed forces have, since dawn today, spotted 32 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, and they were intercepted and dealt with."

He added: "The sinful Iranian aggression resulted in targeting a number of vital facilities in the country, and the interception operations against hostile targets caused shrapnel to fall in several residential areas, resulting in material damage but no human casualties."

He pointed out that the armed forces affirm their continued performance of their duties with efficiency and competence, within the framework of continuous readiness and permanent preparedness, to enhance the nation's security and preserve the safety of citizens and residents.
