The Kuwaiti army announced Thursday evening that it intercepted and dealt with 32 hostile drones within the country's airspace.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Pilot Saud Abdulaziz Al-Attwan, said in a press statement that "the armed forces have detected, since dawn today, 32 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, and they have been intercepted and dealt with."

He added: "The sinful Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of a number of vital facilities in the country, and the operations to intercept hostile targets resulted in shrapnel falling in a number of residential areas, causing material damage without any human casualties."

He pointed out that the armed forces affirm their continued performance of their tasks and duties with efficiency and capability, within the framework of continuous readiness and constant preparedness, to enhance the security of the homeland and preserve the safety of citizens and residents.
