Kuwait Fire Force: Control of Two Fires at Two Sites Targeted by Iranian Attacks
The official spokesman for the Kuwait Fire Force, Brigadier General Muhammad Badr Ibrahim, stated that firefighting teams managed on Saturday afternoon to control two fires that broke out in two different locations in the country as a result of being targeted within the hostile attacks resulting from the heinous Iranian aggression that targeted the country. Five firefighting teams participated in the first location, supported by teams from the oil sector firefighting, while three teams participated in the second location.
Brigadier General Muhammad Badr explained that the firefighting teams immediately began combating and controlling the two fires upon arrival. The incident at the first location resulted in injuries to a number of firefighters and one oil sector worker due to the renewed targeting of the site during firefighting operations. First aid was provided to them and they were handed over to medical emergency services, then transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Brigadier General Muhammad Badr added that the General Fire Force teams also dealt with three separate fires that broke out as a result of falling shrapnel in a number of residential areas, and they managed to control and extinguish them, with damage limited to property and no injuries recorded.
