Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that another power and water desalination plant was subjected to an Iranian attack, leading to a fire in one of its components.

The ministry confirmed in a statement that precautionary operational measures were taken to maintain the safety of the plant and its workers and ensure the stability of the electrical system.

It indicated that its emergency teams, in coordination with the Fire Service Directorate and relevant authorities, began handling the fire, adding that all operational and emergency plans were activated immediately after the incident.

The ministry had announced on Friday that it had controlled a fire that broke out at one of the power and water desalination plants after it was subjected to an Iranian attack that resulted in damage to a large number of power generation units.
