The US Army announced on Wednesday the conclusion of its latest raids on Iran, for the eleventh consecutive night.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the eleventh consecutive night of military strikes against Iran has been completed, confirming the targeting of military operation centers, naval capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics installations.

The command said the strikes aim to further weaken Iran's ability to threaten commercial navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, noting that Tehran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels over the past three months while they were transiting the international waterway.

For its part, Iran activated its air defenses in the capital Tehran on Wednesday amid reports of strikes and explosions in various parts of the country, hours after the United States announced the completion of the eleventh consecutive night of its military operations against Iran.

Iranian state television reported hearing intense air defense activity in western, eastern, and northeastern Tehran, while the IRNA news agency said explosions occurred in Bushehr province, which houses the country's only nuclear power plant, along with strikes in southern and northwestern Iran.
