The State of Kuwait affirmed that the continued heinous Iranian aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, a blatant challenge to international legitimacy, and reflects a determination to continue a hostile approach, stressing its right to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to safeguard its sovereignty and maintain its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the United Nations Charter.

A statement issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday said: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Kuwait's condemnation and denunciation, in the strongest terms, of the heinous Iranian aggression that targeted the country this evening, resulting in injuries to a number of members of the armed forces and causing material damage."

It added: "While the Ministry reiterates its affirmation that the continued heinous Iranian aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait, a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, a blatant challenge to international legitimacy and UN Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026, and reflects a determination to continue a hostile approach and an irresponsible undermining of regional and international efforts aimed at achieving the security and stability of the region, it stresses the inherent right of the State of Kuwait to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to safeguard its sovereignty and maintain its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the United Nations Charter."
