Arab League Secretary-General Reiterates Rejection of Attacks on Countries in the Region

Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy made phone calls with Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in light of the escalation in the region.
The calls discussed the renewed Iranian attacks targeting Oman, the targeting of the two UAE oil tankers "Mombasa" and "Al-Bahiya", in addition to the attacks that targeted Kuwait and the resulting human casualties and injuries.

During the calls, Fahmy expressed his rejection of these attacks, stressing that they represent a flagrant violation of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 2817, emphasizing the importance of protecting maritime navigation and respecting the rules of international law.
The Secretary-General reiterated the Arab League's full solidarity with Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait, and its support for the measures they are taking to protect their security and sovereignty, affirming the League's rejection of any acts that threaten the security and stability of Arab states.
