Kuwait condemns in the strongest terms the heinous Iranian aggression that targeted it

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait's condemnation and denunciation, in the strongest terms, of the heinous Iranian aggression that targeted the country this evening, which resulted in injuries to a number of members of the armed forces and caused material damage.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement: "While the Ministry reiterates its affirmation that the continuation of the heinous Iranian aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait, a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, a blatant challenge to international legitimacy and Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026, and reflects a determination to continue a hostile approach and an irresponsible undermining of regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region, it stresses the inherent right of the State of Kuwait to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to preserve its sovereignty and maintain its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the Charter of the United Nations."
