Prince of Tabuk Region during the launch

His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk Region, launched yesterday at his office in the Emirate the tactical exercise 'Response 24', in the presence of representatives from government and private entities and leaders of the National Center for Environmental Compliance, which supervises the execution of the exercise.

During the launch, His Highness listened to a briefing from the Executive Director of Regional Operations at the Center, Adel Al-Ghamdi, about the exercise, which is being held in its current edition on the coasts of Tabuk Region. He highlighted the significant developments in the readiness of the participating entities in the scenario of the National Plan for Combatting Marine Oil Pollution on the coasts of Tabuk Region, which include 42 entities representing various environmental, security, industrial, service, and other sectors related to this edition of the exercise.

His Highness the Governor of Tabuk Region praised the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - on the safety of people and places and the preservation of the environment in general and the marine environment in particular, and the enactment of regulations that limit the occurrence of accidents affecting natural resources. He pointed out the importance of training and preparedness to deal with environmental disasters professionally, ensuring high readiness, and continuously raising the level of coordination and communication between relevant authorities to guarantee good preparedness and swift, positive response to any emergency incidents, God forbid.

His Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan affirmed the support of all activities of the exercise by the Emirate of the Region and government entities, and the allocation of all capabilities to ensure its success.
