The US Army announced on Monday the execution of strikes against targets in Iran for the ninth consecutive night.

The US Central Command said in a statement: 'Today, for the ninth consecutive night, a new wave of airstrikes against Iran at exactly 7:00 PM Eastern Time.'

The statement added: 'These strikes will continue to undermine the military capabilities that Iran uses to attack commercial ships and civilian sailors transiting the Strait of Hormuz.'

Iranian media reported the sound of explosions in the cities of Tabriz, Chabahar, Konarak, Bandar Mahshahr, and Bandar Imam Khomeini.

Iranian media indicated the activation of air defense systems in Konarak.

Explosions were also heard in Sirik and Bushehr, according to Iranian media.
