Qatar strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attacks on the territories of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait, stressing that they constitute a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the targeted states, a breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement today that targeting power plants and water desalination plants in the State of Kuwait crosses all red lines, and constitutes a violation of UN Security Council Resolution No. (2817), which emphasizes respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and the rejection of targeting civilians and vital facilities.

It stressed the need for an immediate and complete halt to all military operations and attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region, refraining from expanding the cycle of escalation, returning to the path of dialogue and negotiations, and adhering to the understandings achieved through diplomatic efforts.
