Bahraini defenses intercept and destroy Iranian attacks targeting civilians
The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced on Wednesday that Iran continues what it described as its 'systematic hostile approach' through attacks targeting civilians in the kingdom, affirming that its armed forces repelled a number of Iranian aerial attacks.
The General Command said that the air defense systems of the Bahrain Defense Force intercepted and destroyed, on Wednesday, a number of Iranian aerial attacks, stressing that the armed forces possess a 'strong will and high combat readiness' to protect the kingdom.
It affirmed that all weapons and military units are at the highest levels of readiness and on full defensive alert to deal with any threats targeting Bahrain's security.
The General Command called on citizens and residents to exercise caution and avoid approaching any strange or suspicious objects that may result from the Iranian attacks, and to immediately report them to the relevant authorities.
It also explained that the Royal Field Engineering Unit is fully ready to safely and technically handle those objects, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
The General Command stressed that targeting civilians and private property with missiles and drones constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
