The General Directorate of Civil Defense stressed the necessity of having fire extinguishers in homes, and learning the correct ways to use them when fire incidents occur to preserve lives and property.
It explained that the dry powder extinguisher effectively contributes to dealing with various types of domestic fires, through its rapid response in limiting the spread of flames and controlling them.
Following safety guidelines and instructions
The General Directorate called for following the safety guidelines and instructions announced through various media and social media platforms, and calling the numbers 911 in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 998 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions to request assistance in emergency cases.
