The US military announced a new round of strikes on Iran, hours after carrying out a large-scale air attack that, according to it, targeted dozens of Iranian military targets.

In response, Tehran launched a wave of attacks targeting US military bases in the region over the weekend, in a new escalation of tensions between the two countries.
