Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi called for supporting the agreements reached in the Gaza Strip and Iran, implementing them fully, and working to prevent any attempts to thwart them.

He said in a speech today during the inauguration of the Strategic Command (The Octagon) in the new capital that the recent crises in the Middle East have caused severe losses to Egypt, including a loss of about $10 billion in Suez Canal revenues.

The Egyptian President stressed that the fundamental solution to the conflict in the Middle East lies in reaching a comprehensive and just peace agreement for the Palestinian issue, based on the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Sisi warned that Egypt's borders are a "red line," and that protecting homelands is a responsibility that tolerates no negligence, indicating that the state will not allow "encroachment on the capabilities of its people, while adhering to peace for those who want peace."
