Seyed Majid Ibn al-Reza, Acting Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces of Iran, said that his country tripled drone production during the war.
This came during a joint meeting that included officials from the Ministry of Defense and members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament, according to the official Iranian news agency IRNA.
Ibn al-Reza explained that Iran, thanks to its investments in technology, managed to triple drone production during the war period.
He added: 'The recent war has shown that Iran's investments in modern technologies constitute one of the most important components of its defense capability.'
Ibn al-Reza mentioned that during the war that lasted 12 days, as well as during the recent war, Iran faced advanced technologies in the fields of military warfare and psychological warfare.
He claimed that more than 150 leading global technology companies were working for the United States and Israel.
The Iranian official considered that his country, despite that, 'achieved success in both wars,' as he believes.
In conclusion, Brigadier General Ibn al-Reza clarified that Iran, with all its institutions and agencies, is ready to face any potential attack.
The Gulf region has witnessed escalating tensions since the start of the US-Israeli war on Iran on February 28 of last year.
Since Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding on June 18 of last year, negotiations have continued between them with the mediation of Qatar and Pakistan to reach a final agreement.
