The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced today the complete destruction of 5 US aircraft in a missile and drone attack targeting the US base in Azraq, Jordan.

The Revolutionary Guards said in a statement, quoted by the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, that 'the Aerospace Force carried out a simultaneous missile and drone attack on enemy soldiers' positions at the US base in Azraq, Jordan.'

The Revolutionary Guards added according to the statement: 'We destroyed at least two fighter jets and three US aircraft completely, and inflicted heavy damage on several others at the Azraq base.'

In a separate context, Iranian authorities earlier today acknowledged that areas in Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces were subjected to US strikes targeting bridges and facilities on main roads, with no casualties reported so far.

Bushehr Governor Mohammad Mozafari told IRNA that one of the areas on the outskirts of Cheghadek city in Bushehr province was subjected to a US attack, and several explosions were heard in the vicinity of the city during the early hours of Saturday dawn.
