In the same context, Jordanian Information Minister confirmed that the kingdom's air defense system intercepted Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace, noting that the armed forces are on high alert to deal with any potential threats.
The minister pointed out that the Public Security Directorate had earlier sounded sirens as a warning about the launched missiles, confirming that they were successfully dealt with and intercepted.
The Jordanian official emphasized that the army "is fully prepared to deal with any threat to the kingdom, and is devoting all its efforts to preserving the nation's security and the safety of citizens."
He called on residents to adhere to the instructions and information issued by the relevant official authorities, and to avoid circulating unverified news.
