Kuwait's Ministry of Defense announced Thursday the interception of 32 drones that entered Kuwaiti airspace.

According to Sky News Arabia, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Attouan, said, 'The armed forces have detected, since dawn today, (32) hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, and they have been intercepted and dealt with.'

He added, 'The heinous Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of a number of vital facilities in the country, and the operations to intercept hostile targets led to the fall of shrapnel in several residential areas, causing material damage, with no reports of human casualties.'

The Kuwaiti Armed Forces affirmed 'their continued performance of their tasks and duties with efficiency and competence, within the framework of continuous readiness and constant preparedness, to enhance the security of the homeland and preserve the safety of citizens and residents.'
