Kuwait's Ministry of Defense announced that the armed forces intercepted 32 hostile drones inside the country's airspace since dawn Thursday.

Meanwhile, according to Al-Otaiwi, "the interception operations of hostile targets resulted in falling debris in a number of residential areas, causing material damage, with no human casualties recorded."
He added that "the armed forces affirm their continued performance of their tasks and duties with efficiency and competence, within the framework of continuous readiness and permanent preparedness, to enhance the security of the homeland and preserve the safety of citizens and residents."
"Exacerbates the state of escalation"
Earlier on Thursday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the state's strongest condemnation of "the continuation of the heinous Iranian aggression on its territory and what it represents of a continuous aggressive approach and a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, and a grave breach of the rules of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution No. 2817 of 2026."
The Foreign Ministry also added in a statement that Kuwait holds Iran fully responsible for the continuation of these attacks and their consequences, affirming that "persistence in this aggressive approach against the State of Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council states exacerbates the state of escalation and tension and undermines the region's security and stability," calling on Tehran to immediately cease these attacks.
It also stressed that Kuwait "will continue to take all necessary measures to protect its territory, its people, and residents, and safeguard its interests, and it reserves all its legitimate rights in accordance with the provisions of international law."
A spokesman for the Kuwaiti Defense had announced on Wednesday that the armed forces intercepted 4 cruise missiles and 21 drones coming from Iran, adding that the Iranian attack targeted a number of vital installations, causing material damage, with no reports of casualties.
