The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced that another electrical power and water desalination plant was subjected to an Iranian attack, resulting in a fire in one of its components. The ministry confirmed in a statement that it took precautionary operational measures to maintain the safety of the plant and its workers and ensure the stability of the electrical system. It indicated that its emergency teams, in coordination with the General Fire Force and relevant authorities, began dealing with the fire, adding that all operational and emergency plans were activated immediately after the incident occurred. The ministry had announced on Friday that it had controlled a fire that broke out in one of the electrical power and water desalination plants, following an Iranian attack that resulted in damage to a large number of electric power generation units.
