Kuwait: Firefighters and worker injured while extinguishing two fires that broke out after Iranian attacks

Kuwait, July 18 (QNA) - A number of firefighters and a worker were injured today while dealing with two fires that broke out in two different locations in Kuwait following Iranian attacks.

The Kuwait Fire Service Directorate said in a post on its official account on the 'X' platform that 5 firefighting teams, supported by firefighting teams from the oil sector, are participating in controlling the fire at the first site, which resulted in a number of injuries, while 3 other teams are participating at the second site.

Kuwait has witnessed since last night a series of attacks with hostile missiles and drones coming from Iran, which were confronted by air defense systems, according to the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, while one of these attacks resulted in the targeting of an electric power and water desalination plant.
