Lebanon's Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the country has risen to 4,328 dead and 12,227 wounded since March 2.

The ministry's Health Emergency Operations Center said in a statement that the cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression reached "4,328 dead and 12,227 wounded".

This means 4 new deaths have been recorded since last Monday, when the previous death toll was 4,324, while 3 new injuries have been recorded since Thursday, when the last injury toll was 12,224, in addition to the displacement of more than one million people.

Israel continues its aggression against Lebanon despite the two countries signing a "framework agreement" under US sponsorship on June 26.

This also comes despite the understanding reached in Rome talks between Beirut and Tel Aviv days ago on starting an Israeli withdrawal from two pilot areas in southern Lebanon.

Israel occupies areas in southern Lebanon, some for decades, and others since the previous war between 2023 and 2024, and it has also penetrated more than ten kilometers during the current aggression.

Israel also continues to occupy Palestinian and Syrian territories and refuses to withdraw from them, and rejects the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, according to relevant UN resolutions.
