The joint field campaigns to monitor and apprehend violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations, conducted across all regions of the Kingdom during the period from June 25, 2026 to July 1, 2026, yielded the following results:

The total number of violators apprehended in the joint security field campaigns across all regions of the Kingdom reached 15,591, including 7,759 violators of residency regulations, 4,488 violators of border security regulations, and 3,344 violators of labor regulations.

Additionally, the total number of individuals apprehended while attempting to cross the border into the Kingdom reached 1,629 people, of whom 46% were Yemeni nationals, 53% were Ethiopian nationals, and 1% were of other nationalities. Additionally, 58 individuals were caught trying to cross the border out of the Kingdom illegally.

Meanwhile, 17 individuals were arrested for transporting, harboring, employing, and covering up violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations.

The total number of violators currently undergoing regulatory procedures reached 27,445 foreign violators, including 25,412 men and 2,033 women.

Meanwhile, 16,912 violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, 4,174 violators were referred to complete their travel bookings, and 12,292 violators were deported.

The Ministry of Interior affirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of border security violators into the Kingdom, transports them within the country, provides shelter, or offers any assistance or service in any form, exposes themselves to penalties including up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the vehicle and property used for shelter, as well as public shaming. It clarified that this crime is considered a major offense warranting arrest and is a crime involving honor and integrity. The ministry urged reporting any violations via 911 in Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province regions, and via 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom.
