The Muslim World League strongly denounced the statements issued by the Houthi terrorist militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement by the League’s General Secretariat, His Excellency the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Board of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, condemned these fabrications put forward by the so-called military spokesman of this terrorist militia, which has brought nothing but death and destruction to Yemen. The Yemeni people, with their capacities, stability, and livelihood resources, have been the primary victim of its crimes, violations, obstinacy, and barbaric interventions in regional conflicts, serving its sectarian agendas and narrow political goals. This includes its attacks against the Yemeni people and targeting of infrastructure in Yemen, which spared no civilian airports, oil export ports, government facilities, or commercial ships in the Red Sea.

He affirmed that the Yemeni people, under the care of the Muslim world and the international community, realize that these fabrications are merely a desperate attempt by this terrorist group to divert attention from its crimes, cover up its crises, and evade responsibility for the catastrophic situation to which it has brought the Yemeni people, especially in areas under its control, as a result of its crimes, violations, mismanagement, and tyranny over the will and resources of the Yemeni people.

He emphasized that these false allegations are belied by reality and refuted by established facts, some of which were pointed out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its condemnation of the statements by the so-called military spokesman of the Houthi terrorist militia. The Ministry affirmed that over the past years, the Kingdom, in cooperation with the legitimate Yemeni government, has worked to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people through continued development projects, support for the Yemeni government budget, provision of necessary petroleum derivatives to operate power plants, and its ongoing support for all UN efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen. This is the sincere and consistent approach that the Kingdom has maintained in standing by the Yemeni people, as witnessed by the countries of the Muslim world, UN organizations, and the entire international community.
