Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said that the US field moves completely contradict its claims of wanting de-escalation in the region.

This came in a post by Qalibaf on his account on the US platform 'X'.

Qalibaf added that Washington continues to send new military reinforcements and equipment to the region, while claiming it wants to end the war with Iran.

In this regard, he said: 'The United States acts inconsistently between words and deeds, as the Americans continue to bring new military equipment to the region while claiming to seek an end to the war.'

Qalibaf considered that Iran has reached a high level of expertise in uncovering American deceptions and is well prepared for them.

On Thursday, US Vice President JD Vance said in press statements that some Israeli officials sought to influence American public opinion to derail the diplomatic path with Iran, stressing that US foreign policy should be formulated in Washington, and that preventing Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon does not necessarily mean being dragged into a new war in the Middle East.

In a related context, Iranian army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia warned on Monday that ships of countries cooperating with the US in launching attacks against his country will face obstacles and problems while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

According to what was reported by Iran's Fars News Agency, Akraminia directed sharp criticism at some Gulf states that he accused of 'providing support for attacks directed against Iran'.

Akraminia believed that 'some' Gulf states have economically benefited from the Strait of Hormuz for years through trade in goods and oil, accusing those states, which he did not name, of cooperating with the US in attacks against Iran.

He added: 'Countries that support the aggressive and illegal actions of the United States will face problems passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Military equipment that will be used against the Iranian people cannot be allowed to pass through this strait.'

The Israel Broadcasting Authority reported on Saturday that the United States has begun sending additional air reinforcements to the Middle East, including fighter jets and refueling aircraft, amid the escalating confrontation with Iran.

- Bombing targets in Bahrain and Kuwait

In the context, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Monday conducting simultaneous attacks with missiles and drones targeting 'American military targets' in Bahrain and Kuwait.

A statement by the Revolutionary Guard claimed that Iranian forces targeted and destroyed hangars for maintenance and storage of US drones at Al Sakhir Airport in Bahrain.

The Revolutionary Guard also claimed targeting hangars dedicated to preparing naval units of the US Task Force (TF-59) at Salman Port in Bahrain.

The statement added that its forces destroyed the support and logistics hangars housing US special naval forces at the 'Arifjan' base in Kuwait.

Earlier on Monday, both Kuwait and Bahrain announced intercepting Iranian attacks with missiles and drones, amid sounding of sirens.

In Kuwait, the army said its air defenses repelled Iranian attacks, in the third such announcement in hours, coinciding with the sounding of sirens.

The General Staff said that 'Kuwaiti air defenses are currently repelling hostile missile and drone attacks, following the sinful Iranian aggression'.

It explained that the sounds of explosions resulted from air defense systems intercepting the attacks, and called on citizens and residents to comply with safety and security instructions.

In Bahrain, state television announced that the air defense system intercepted and destroyed Iranian aerial attacks in the kingdom's skies.

Sirens sounded three times since Monday dawn, while the Interior Ministry called on residents to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place.

The Bahrain Defense Force said its air defenses 'intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian aerial assaults', stressing that all its weapons and units are at the highest readiness level.

It added that the attacks targeted civilians and private property, and considered them 'a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law'.

On July 8, US President Donald Trump announced the end of the ceasefire stipulated in the memorandum of understanding signed with Tehran on June 18 last year, which includes lifting the naval blockade on Iran.

This announcement came after Iran targeted three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, at a time when Tehran affirms its pursuit to impose a mechanism for regulating ship transit through the strait, while Washington demands guaranteeing freedom of navigation and its security.

The escalation led to disruption of navigation traffic in the strait, threatening energy supplies and aviation movement, amid intermittent closures of airspaces, and warnings of targeting American installations and interests outside the Middle East region.
