The Syrian Anti-Narcotics Administration, through a security operation carried out in the Damascus countryside, foiled an attempt to smuggle a large shipment of narcotics coming from the Lebanese border, following precise security monitoring and tracking.

The operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals identified by the initials (A.Sh.), (S.D.), and (N.A.), as well as the seizure of the following quantities: 113 kilograms of hashish, 46,000 Captagon pills, and 1.2 kilograms of crystal meth.

All seized items were confiscated, while investigations with the detainees continue in order to uncover their accomplices and others involved in the network, pending their referral to the competent judiciary for the necessary legal measures against them.
