Syrian Interior Ministry Arrests Robbery Gang in Aleppo That Stole Gold and Dollars from 5 Houses
The Syrian Ministry of Interior revealed that internal security forces in the city of Aleppo managed to arrest a gang of 7 people specializing in theft and fraud, led by one named (H. A.), following precise monitoring of their movements and systematic tracking of their criminal activity.
The ministry explained that investigations with the detainees revealed their involvement in a series of thefts targeting 5 houses, during which they seized sums of money and gold jewelry, most notably stealing gold jewelry weighing about 3.4 kilograms from one house, as well as stealing $10,000 and 70 grams of gold from another house, before they proceeded to sell the stolen items.
The ministry indicated that all detainees have been referred to the competent authorities to complete investigations, pending their presentation before the judiciary to take the necessary legal measures against them.
