Syria's Ministry of Interior announced that internal security forces in Lattakia Governorate have uncovered the circumstances of a murder that occurred in the village of Mangila in the Lattakia countryside, and arrested those involved, following thorough and intensive investigations conducted by specialized units.

As soon as the competent authorities received a report of the crime, which claimed the lives of the father, mother, and their child, and injured their daughter, the specialized units initiated field procedures; they conducted a technical examination of the crime scene, collected forensic evidence, and analyzed data, leading to the identification of the four suspects and their arrest: (A.A.), (K.A.), (S.A.), and (A.B.).

Investigations resulted in the detainees confessing to having premeditated the crime, motivated by previous disputes with the victim, confirming that they deliberately disabled the surveillance cameras around the house before carrying out the crime, then seized some of its belongings and fled the scene.

The detainees were referred to the competent judiciary to complete legal proceedings against them in accordance with established procedures.
