The General Directorate of Civil Defense explained the safe ways to use gas in homes and facilities.

It stressed the need to follow safety procedures, choose a safe location for the cylinder, ensure the safety of fittings, turn off the gas source when leaving the kitchen, conduct periodic checks of ovens and stoves, and install gas leak detectors to avoid the risks of leakage that threaten lives and property.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense called for following safety guidelines and instructions announced through various media and social media, and contacting numbers (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (998) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions in emergency cases.
