Deportation of 12,211 Violators of Residence and Work Regulations
The competent authorities deported 12,211 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations, as part of the results of joint field security campaigns conducted in all regions of the Kingdom during the period from 24/1 to 1/2/1448 AH, corresponding to July 9 to 15, 2026. The campaigns resulted in the arrest of 15,836 violators, including 7,892 violators of residency regulations, 4,617 violators of border security regulations, and 3,327 violators of labor regulations. Security authorities also arrested 1,631 individuals attempting to enter the Kingdom illegally, with Yemenis accounting for 33% of them, Ethiopians 65%, and other nationalities 2%. Additionally, 42 individuals were arrested while attempting to leave the Kingdom illegally. As part of combating the harboring of violators, 21 individuals were arrested for involvement in transporting, sheltering, employing, or harboring violators of residency, work, and border security regulations. The number of violators currently subject to enforcement procedures is 30,139 expatriates, including 28,087 men and 2,052 women, while 17,273 violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, and 6,160 violators were referred to complete their travel bookings, prior to completing the deportation of 12,211 violators.
