The US Army announced the start of new strikes against Iranian military targets.
Al Arabiya quoted the US Army as saying: We will continue the mission to undermine Iran's ability to attack commercial ships.
Explosions across Iran
Al Arabiya also quoted Iranian media as saying that US rocket shelling targeted a site near Ahvaz.
