The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Wednesday the completion of the eleventh consecutive night of military operations against Iran, confirming strikes on military operations centers, naval capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone warehouses, and military logistics facilities.

The command stated that these strikes aim to continue weakening Iran's ability to threaten commercial navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, noting that Tehran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels over the past three months while they transited the international waterway.

In response, Iran activated its air defenses in the capital Tehran, amid reports of strikes and explosions in various parts of the country, hours after the US announced the completion of operations.

Iranian state television monitored intense air defense activity in western, eastern, and northeastern Tehran, while the IRNA news agency reported explosions in Bushehr province, which hosts the country's only nuclear power plant, along with strikes in southern and northwestern Iran.
