Iranian authorities announced that 38 people have been killed and 400 wounded in U.S. bombing since June 22.

The U.S. military said it completed another night of strikes aimed at "further weakening Iran's military capabilities," including attacks on Qeshm Island and near the city of Bandar Abbas, which hosts Iran's largest port and key facilities of the navy and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

U.S. Central Command said in a statement, "U.S. forces, using fighter jets, drones, and warships, launched precision munitions that struck dozens of Iranian military targets, such as coastal surveillance and air defense sites, military logistics infrastructure, and naval capabilities."

Iran retaliates by launching missiles and drones at U.S. military bases in neighboring countries, including an air base in Jordan.

In the early hours of Friday morning, the Iranian military said it attacked U.S. facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait. A witness reported several explosion-like sounds in the Qatari capital Doha, and Qatar's Interior Ministry said a child was injured by falling debris from intercept operations.

Iranian media reported that five bridges were bombed in the latest round of U.S. strikes, along with the railway station in the coastal city of Bandar Khamir and Iranshahr Airport in southeastern Iran.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Friday that it attacked a U.S. special operations command center in al-Tanf, Syria, in response to the killing of Iranian soldiers in Iranshahr.

The U.S. military said in February it completed its withdrawal from the al-Tanf base on the Syria-Jordan-Iraq border.
