Washington targets dozens of Iranian sites with precision munitions
The US Army announced that its forces have begun launching further strikes against Iran to continue undermining its ability to attack civilian sailors and commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
In turn, the US Central Command noted that the forces carried out a new wave of strikes targeting dozens of sites in multiple areas with precision-guided munitions.
Targeting Iranian Army air defense systems and coastal radar sites
It pointed out that Iranian Army air defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone equipment, and small boats were targeted, using US fighter jets, Navy ships, drones, and unmanned boats.
Iranian sources reported that explosions were heard in several areas, including west of Bandar Abbas.
Yesterday (Sunday), the US Army launched strikes on Iranian missile and air defense systems near the Strait of Hormuz.
A US official confirmed that US forces also targeted small boats belonging to Iran's Revolutionary Guard in two locations around the Strait of Hormuz.
