Germany expressed serious concern after a Saudi ship was targeted in the Red Sea. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius warned of a 'potential escalation' of the conflict in the Middle East.

He said: 'It is clear that (the situation) is developing in the wrong direction,' calling for restraint and a ceasefire solution.

Algeria condemns

Algeria expressed its strong condemnation of the attack on a Saudi ship while sailing in the Red Sea, considering it a flagrant violation of the principles of international law regarding freedom of navigation in international waterways and a direct threat to the security and stability of the entire region.

Algeria affirmed - according to the Algerian News Agency - its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following this attack, and stressed the need for an immediate halt to these attacks that undermine the safety of international trade and the flow of energy supplies, calling for de-escalation and avoiding any behavior that could increase tensions in the Middle East.

Britain condemns

The United Kingdom also strongly condemned the Houthi militia's targeting of a Saudi ship, stressing that these reckless actions endanger lives, threaten an environmental disaster, and undermine regional stability, in flagrant violation of international law.

The British Foreign Office affirmed in a statement the United Kingdom's solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, calling on the Houthi militia to immediately halt these attacks.

Muslim World League condemns

The Muslim World League strongly condemned the targeting of a Saudi ship in the Red Sea by the terrorist Houthi militia. In a statement by the league's General Secretariat, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa denounced this cowardly criminal attack, which violates all religious values, international and humanitarian laws and norms, and confirms the criminal approach of this terrorist militia in targeting civilian and economic assets and threatening international trade routes and the marine environment.

He stressed - on behalf of the league, its councils, bodies, and global assemblies - full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes regarding this terrorist aggression.
