The Yemeni Armed Forces announced targeting the runway of Sana'a International Airport to prevent an Iranian plane from landing on Yemeni soil.

The Media Center of the Yemeni Armed Forces explained in a statement that the operation came after the Houthi militia, backed by the Iranian regime, prevented the Yemeni national airline from landing at the capital Sana'a airport, and insisted on allowing the Iranian plane to violate Yemeni airspace and territory.

The center affirmed that targeting the airport runway was in response to this insistence and to prevent the Iranian plane from landing.
