The curtain fell on Sunday on the 'Live the World Cup' event implemented by 'Benchmark' at 'Abadi Al-Johar Arena' in Jeddah, coinciding with the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain. The event concluded after a fan experience that lasted more than a month, during which it received over 100,000 visitors as part of a program that combined following the tournament's matches, enjoying entertainment and interactive activities targeting various segments of the public, in addition to the attendance of a number of former football players, club presidents, and consuls of the participating countries, who experienced the World Cup atmosphere with the fans. 'Benchmark' transformed the 'Abadi Al-Johar' theater throughout the tournament period into an integrated fan destination through the largest fan zone in Jeddah, and an operational and entertainment system spread across nine areas, designed to provide an experience that goes beyond watching matches to spending a full day of entertainment. The event included dedicated areas for fan gatherings, watching matches on screens, along with e-sports tournaments, competitions for the youth audience, interactive experiences, and photo spots inspired by the World Cup atmosphere. The program also included continuous entertainment shows between matches, a range of shops and restaurants, in addition to dedicated spaces for sponsors, which contributed to diversifying the visitor experience and sustaining activities throughout the event. Receiving over 100,000 visitors during the event reflects 'Benchmark's ability to design and manage extended fan destinations, and operate multi-element experiences that combine sports content, entertainment, fan interaction, and commercial partnerships within a single project. 'Live the World Cup' concluded with the viewing of the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain, after the 'Abadi Al-Johar Arena' theater became one of the top football fan destinations in Jeddah throughout the tournament.
