The Saudi Camel Racing Federation announced on Monday the opening of registration dates for the Hama Tuwayq Cup and the second race within the Taif Season competitions. Registration continues until 06:00 PM next Friday. The Hama Tuwayq Cup Challenge features 16 cups in all categories: Mafareed, Haqayeq, Jidha', Liqaya, Heil, and Zimoul. The total prize money is 1,540,000 riyals, sponsored by Riyad Al-Sa'doun, a camel owner. On the other hand, the Saudi Federation has set next Thursday as the date for installing electronic chips for camels participating in the camel races at the Taif track.
