Al-Ittihad to Face Málaga on July 30
Al-Ittihad Club announced that its first football team will play its fourth friendly match against Spanish side Málaga on July 30, as part of its preparatory camp in Marbella, Spain, ahead of the new sports season. The Jeddah-based team will kick off its friendlies next Tuesday against South Africa's Orlando Pirates, then face Las Palmas on the 25th of the same month, followed by Real Mallorca on the same day as the Málaga match. Málaga competes in La Liga and was founded in 1948. The 'Tigers' delegation arrived in Spain on Tuesday as part of the second stage of preparation, ahead of the new sports season. The delegation was accompanied by 14 foreign players, led by Serbian Predrag Rajković, Portuguese Danilo Pereira, French Moussa Diaby, Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri, and Spanish Unai Hernández. It is expected that Algerian Houssem Aouar, Hassan Kadesh, and Saleh Al-Shehri will join the camp after the end of the leave granted to them for their participation with the Algerian and Saudi national teams in the 2026 World Cup finals.
