Al-Ittihad Club announced that its first football team will play its third friendly match against Spanish side RCD Mallorca on July 30 as part of its preparatory camp in the Spanish city of Marbella, in preparation for the new sports season. The Jeddah-based team begins its friendlies next Tuesday against South Africa's Orlando Pirates, before facing Spanish side Las Palmas on July 25. RCD Mallorca competes in the second division of the Spanish league, was founded in 1916, is based in Palma in the Balearic Islands, and plays its matches at the Son Moix stadium. Its most notable achievement is winning the Copa del Rey in 2003. The 'Tigers' delegation arrived in Spain on Tuesday as part of the second phase of preparation for the new sports season. The delegation includes 14 foreign players, led by Serbian Predrag Rajkovic, Portuguese Danilo Pereira, Frenchman Moussa Diaby, Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri, and Spanish Unai Hernández. Algerian Houssem Aouar, Hassan Kadesh, and Saleh Al-Shehri are expected to join the camp after the end of the leave granted to them due to their participation with the Algerian and Saudi national teams in the 2026 World Cup finals.
