The competitions of the Kurash Championship for the Makkah region kicked off on Friday at the Olympic Hall of Jeddah Club, organized by the Saudi Kurash Committee, and will continue for two days. 42 male and female players participate in all age categories, with a refereeing staff of four referees. The championship comes within the framework of the committee's efforts to increase the number of practitioners of Kurash, feed the age groups of the Saudi national teams, and expand the base for discovering talents in various regions, by providing the appropriate platform to highlight abilities and develop skills.
