The administrations of Abha and Al-Ula have agreed to organize a friendly match between their teams next Friday at their training camps in Slovenia, according to a source speaking to Al-Riyadiya. The same source indicated that the southern club's management has agreed with a French goalkeeper, who will sign as soon as he arrives at the camp in Slovenia.

Abha players returned to training on July 8 after a break following their title win in the Yelo First Division League and promotion to the Saudi Roshn League for the new season. They left on July 16 for a camp in Slovenia lasting until August 1, during which they will play four friendlies. Abha lost their first friendly 1-2 to UAE's Sharjah last Sunday.

The club has strengthened its squad by signing right-back Mohammed Al-Dosari, left-back Safwan Al-Juhani, and Senegalese international Abdou Diallo.
