Dutch international winger Crysencio Summerville embarks on a new experience in the Saudi Pro League after officially joining Al-Hilal from English side West Ham United.

On Friday, Al-Hilal announced the completion of the signing of Summerville, making him the latest Dutch player to compete in the Saudi league, in a deal expected to give the team more attacking strength.

The Al-Hilal vs. Al-Ittihad classic is expected to witness the first direct confrontation between Summerville and his compatriot Steven Bergwijn, an Al-Ittihad player, when the two teams meet in Riyadh in the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League.

The pair will also face off again in the second leg, hosted by Al-Ittihad in Jeddah in the 25th round, a match that adds a special dimension to the anticipated classic.

Both players have previously represented the Dutch national team, but Summerville is part of the current squad of the Oranje, while Bergwijn's last international appearance dates back to 2024.
