Saudi Al-Ahli club has decided to sacrifice a new foreign player, before the start of the next season 2026-2027, after one season of signing him.
Al-Ahli had previously announced the departure of two foreign stars from its ranks, namely Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié and Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez, after three years with the club.
Saudi newspaper 'Al-Riyadiya' reported that 'Al-Raqi' decided to sacrifice a third foreign player, French midfielder Enzo Millot, as sporting director Rui Pedro is looking for a suitable offer to sell or loan him.
Millot joined Al-Ahli during the last summer transfer window, coming from German club Stuttgart, and he started the season very strongly before his levels declined in the recent period.
According to the same newspaper, Al-Ahli has already begun the process of searching for a new midfielder to compensate for Millot's departure, in case a suitable offer arrives in the coming days.
Al-Raqi had already signed two players who can play in midfield, especially offensively: Armenian Eduard Spertsyan and Portuguese Francisco Trincão.
It is noteworthy that Millot participated with Al-Ahli in 40 matches in various competitions last season, during which he scored 9 goals and provided 7 assists.
