Al-Ettifaq are close to completing a new signing to bolster their squad, having reached a near-final agreement with Danish club Copenhagen to sign Swedish striker Jordan Larsson, ahead of the final stage of their preparations for the new season.

According to sources, the deal is worth around $1.5 million, with only official approvals and final procedures remaining before the player's arrival is officially announced.

This move is part of Al-Ettifaq's management efforts to strengthen attacking options, following coordination with the technical staff who are seeking to build a team capable of competing strongly in the 2026-2027 sports season, by recruiting players with experience and technical quality.

Al-Ettifaq is expected to announce the deal within the next few days, once administrative procedures are completed and contracts are officially ratified, making Jordan Larsson one of the club's most prominent signings during the current summer transfer window.
