Al-Ittihad competes with Frankfurt for Nigerian Onyedika
Al-Ittihad, competing in the Saudi Professional League, has sent an official offer to Belgian club Club Brugge to secure the services of Nigerian player Raphael Onyedika, according to sources from journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The same sources confirmed that Al-Ittihad faces strong competition from German club Eintracht Frankfurt, which is pushing hard to secure the services of the Nigerian player.
The sources confirmed that Club Brugge values the player at approximately 10 million euros due to the remaining one year on his current contract.
Raphael Onyedika is 25 years old and is considered one of the most important players of the Nigerian national team. His market value is estimated at around 23 million euros according to Transfermarkt, but his contract duration has reduced the purchase price to 10 million euros.
The player has participated in 183 matches wearing the Club Brugge jersey, including 24 matches in the UEFA Champions League.
