Al-Safa Club announced the closure of one of the cases pending before the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), after successfully completing its legal procedures, which included an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), resulting in a reduction of the claimed amount by approximately 400,000 riyals.

The club clarified in an official statement issued today that the closure of the case led to the lifting of the transfer ban, a step that boosts the preparations of the first football team for the upcoming season and its participation in the Second Division League.

The statement added that the club has only one remaining case still under consideration, stressing that it does not affect the team's preparations or the management's plans for the new season.

In conclusion of its statement, the board of Al-Safa Club appreciated the efforts made by the club's legal partner, and also praised the cooperation of the Ministry of Sports and its continuous support for Saudi clubs in preserving their legal rights, which contributes to enhancing governance and consolidating stability within the sports sector.
