Special sources revealed to Al-Riyadiya that Al-Wehda club’s administration, headed by Hazim Al-Lahyani, decided to appoint Saeed Al-Shahrani, former football director of Damac club, as the club’s executive director of football. According to the same sources, Al-Shahrani has assumed his duties and appeared in the first team’s training sessions, and has started finalizing the team’s camp, which will be held in Turkey next Saturday. The same sources confirmed that Al-Shahrani enlisted Abdullah Abu Huthra, also a former Damac administrator, and decided to appoint him as administrator for Al-Wehda team. On the other hand, the Makkah-based team’s administration canceled the decision to transfer the first football team’s training to the King Abdulaziz Sports City stadium in Al-Shara’i, and insisted on organizing it at Prince Abdul Majeed Stadium at the club’s headquarters in Al-Omrah neighborhood.
